Depersonalize

You have to make the buyer see the as their home, not yours. That’s harder to do if your photos and art work are all over the walls. You may appreciate the art and the photos, but the buyer might not.  Try to make the interior as neutral as possible in the way of personal affects.

Lighten Up

Light makes all the difference when it comes to making the home more appealing.  Try to get as high of a wattage bulb as your fixtures will safely allow and replace all your bulbs.  And make sure to open the blinds and curtains for all showings during the day.

Curb Appeal is Real

We all know about first impressions.  Don’t scare the buyer away before they come inside. So tidy up the yard, , put down new mulch, trim the hedgesedge the lawn.  Hire a landscaper if you need to.  And freshen up the exterior paint. Powerwash the walkways and driveway.
